Our Purpose
“The Tabernacle Hostel exists to provide safe and secure accommodation for those young people who are living away from home for the first time, although the hostel is not restricted to first year students. The scope of our service is to provide a positive Christian environment and to cater to the spiritual needs of up to 32 residents who live in the hostel.”
Summer Accommodation
Welcome to the Auckland Baptist Tabernacle Hostel.
Do you need good accommodation in the city for a few days or few months over summer?
- Modern near new apartment style accommodation comprising 2, 3, 4 or 5 bedroom apartments, plus large communal lounge/recreational areas.
- Convenient Queen Street location (441 Queen Street).
- On all major bus routes and within walking distance of Britomart railway station.
- On-site managers.
- Full electronic access and security system.
- Friendly church next door.
- Fully furnished including linen, crockery, cutlery, etc (bring your own towels).
- Each apartment has separate bedrooms (single beds), lounge, kitchen and bathroom.
- Ideal for Gold Card holders – park your car and use the public transport and see the sights of Auckland.
- Summer accomodation only available between mid-November and mid-February.
