There are 12 self-contained apartments each catering for between 2 and 5 people in separate bedrooms. There is also a staff apartment on site. The apartments are located on the top floor of the Tabernacle Trust building on the corner of Queen Street and Karangahape (K) Road in CBD of Auckland. It is well secured with electronic proximity (prox) card access from Queen Street and the Church Plaza via lifts and stairwell.

Each apartment is fully furnished and contains a bathroom, basically equipped kitchen, lounge and dining facilities. There is a shared laundry with coin-operated automatic washing machines and dryers. Each resident is supplied with a prox card that allows them access to the building and the Hostel level 24/7 and a key to their own apartment and bedroom.

There is a community kitchen and an area set aside for community activities, including a table tennis table, piano, large television and easy chairs.

Residents need to bring a spare pillow, extra bed linen if required (2 sets are provided), towels and personal effects. These all need to be suitably labelled.
